So many people have done "sexy Pokemon" and "pimp Ash" and I always thought it was a cute idea. One day it came to me that no one had ever done the same with Pikmin. So I told some friends about the idea and they loved it! We planned on having a Pimp Olimar but it never happened :(

Professor Tomoe (Sailormoon S)

I really don't know where the inspiration for this costume came from. One day I just decided that Professor Tomoe was awesome and I had to cosplay him.

Sakura (Naruto)
Worn at: Otakon 2004, Ohayocon 2005, Tekkoshocon 2005, Otakon 2005, Reactor 2005, Ohayocon 2006
Two groups of friends were doing a Naruto group and neither had a Sakura. I never really thought about doing a Naruto cosplay before my friends asked me to do it but I'm happy with how it came out.
I had limited time to complete this costume, and I was less experienced at the time, so I decided to do the version without the sleeves (I always liked it better without sleeves anyway). I wanted to do long-haired Sakura because I think she's prettier and I didn't want another short pink wig (having recently cosplayed Guu).

At first, this costume was meant to compliment a Haruka costume in a cosplay skit my sister and I were planning, but that never happened, so I was left with a beautiful costume to hall cosplay with. I'm very glad I made this costume because I can say I've made tribute to both Haruka and Michiru :)
I apologize to all musicians. I had no idea how to hold a violin.

Inspiration: I watched Guu with the anime club at my college and fell in love with it! We were originally planning to do a huge Guu group but that never happened :(

My favorite actress as my favorite character from my favorite anime! What more inspiration does one need for her first costume? ^-^ I aimed for a modified SeraMyu-style fuku. I modified it by making the sleeves white instead of blue, the collar doesn't stand up as much as Myu, and the bow is a bit different. Otherwise it's Myu-style. I'd say it's a mix of Myu and anime.
